SNORKELING

AND BOAT TRIPS

IN MAURITIUS

Reefs around Mauritius provide effective protection for the island. Waves raised by storms dampen to the reefs and do not reach the beaches with their full force. Sharks also remain outside the reefs, so the shark risk is extremely low in the Mauritius' coastal waters.

On a snorkeling trip, we explore the underwater world in two or three different locations. We also visit the island for a light lunch. The island's sandy beach is great for swimming and beach play.

On boat trips there is possibility to see dolphins. Humpback whales are less frequent visitors to these waters, but they are also seen every now and then. The best chance of seeing them is between 7am and 8am in the morning. On a dolphin excursion we first visit the dolphins on the outer edge of the reefs. Afterwards we visit the island, which has snorkeling facilities in the coastal waters.

The total price for a two-hour dolphin and snorkeling trip is EUR 200. The price includes soft drinks but no refreshments.
The maximum number of people is 7.

The total price for a four hour snorkeling and island trip is € 250. The price includes soft drinks but no refreshments.
